The connector's own docstring, verbatim. It lives beside the code so it cannot drift from it.

BBS publishes one workbook per monthly CPI/WRI release. The workbook carries national, rural, and urban CPI levels plus published month-over-month and year-over-year rates for all items, non-food, and twelve source-labelled COICOP divisions. It also republishes the national annual history under five separate reference bases. Those bases remain separate series families here; they are never spliced.
The catalogue host currently presents an incomplete TLS certificate chain to Python on the collector. As with Rosstat, the transport-chain check is disabled only for the catalogue request, then the response identity, selected Oracle object-storage URL, XLSX ZIP structure, sheet set, periods, category count, and rate arithmetic are validated before bytes enter the archive.
