What building it taught us

The connector's own docstring, verbatim. It lives beside the code so it cannot drift from it.

Thailand TPSO national consumer-price connector.

The Trade Policy and Strategy Office publishes its current national CPI classification through a keyless index service. The public application's bulk endpoint returns the complete source hierarchy, official Thai and English labels, monthly indices, published month-on-month and year-on-year changes, and base-period basket weights in one response. Ten nodes currently omit the English field; their exact Thai labels use the reviewed map in `translations/tha.json` and any new omission fails closed. The companion master response declares the base and complete available period, and is archived beside the data so replay never depends on the live service.

TPSO's classification is retained as `tpso2023. It is not asserted to be COICOP below the all-items aggregate. Buddhist Era years are converted to Gregorian years, but the source-published 2566 (2023) base remains explicit in every identity. The API's official English names are presentation labels; the Thai source names remain concept_label` in stored metadata.
